In a rematch of last year's Little Illini Conference championship game, the Olney Tigers went head-to-head with the hosting Newton Eagles for the 53rd LIC Tournament title and came home the victors. The #1 seeded Tigers snuck eight points by # 3 Newton to claim the title with a final score of 47-39. The Tigers lead the conference with an 8-0 record and have secured a season record of 22-2 thus far. Congratulations to the coaches and student athletes on a fantastic win! RCHS is proud of you - One Tiger Nation!

​Three Richland County High School seniors were selected as WSIU Top Teens for the 2023-2024 school year. Those selected were Trenton Payne, Colby Redman, and Isabella Trupiano. "WSIU's "Top Teens" are chosen by their respective schools throughout the region. The area students excel academically and in a variety of co-curricular activities. Many are also involved in community service," (WSIU TV, Youtube.com). RCHS is incredibly proud of these three individuals!
