DISABILITY ACCEPTANCE WEEK: We aim to create a culture of acceptance, inclusion and positivity for people with disabilities at RCHS and in our community. Down Syndrome is a genetic disorder caused by abnormal cell division before birth that results in an extra chromosome. An intellectual Disability is when a person has a difficult time learning, solving problems, or understanding when something can be harmful to them or others.
