This Thursday and Friday come out to cheer on Lady Tiger and Tiger Basketball and also support SRO Ameter's toy drive. Mr. Music's driver's education classes had roadside and downed powerline safety lessons today. Students were taught how to exit a vehicle near a downed powerline, among other things. A big thank you goes out to Ameren and Distress Bandanna for presenting the safety lessons to these soon-to-be drivers!

On Thursday, Lady Tiger Basketball takes on Robinson in Ron Herrin Gym at 6pm. That same evening, freshmen/sophomore Tiger Basketball are in Robinson for a 6pm matchup. On Friday, Tiger Basketball has their first home game of the regular season in RHG against Robinson at 6pm. And this Saturday gives fans a few chances to catch OTN in action. Tiger Wrestling competes in the Lawrenceville Tournament beginning at 9am. Lady Tiger Basketball hosts Teutopolis at home with game play starting at 1pm. And Tiger Basketball is on the road to Marion to play Carbondale at 4:30pm in the Black Diamond Shootout. Come on out and support these great student athletes!

Olney Tiger Basketball competed in the Capital Classic in Lawrence County this Thanksgiving weekend. In addition to walking away as the tournament champions, three Tigers were selected to the All-Tournament Team — Rex Hallam, Arjay Keller, and Ian Winkler. Winkler was also selected as MVP. This weekend and next weekend Olney Tiger athletics are in tournament action. November 17th, 18th, 24th, and 25th Lady Tiger Basketball is on the road to Pana High School to participate in the Thanksgiving Tournament. On November 24th and 25th, Olney Tiger Basketball will show their skills at the Capital Classic. They will take the court at the Red Hill site. And Olney Tiger Wrestling will hit the mats in Vincennes to participate in the Lincoln High School Duals on November 25th, beginning at 8am. Come on out, support these stellar student athletes, and show your OTN pride!
If you purchased Texas Roadhouse items from Olney Tiger Wrestling, pick-up will be Thursday, November 16 at 5pm at the Ron Herrin Gym entrance.
