The Richland County JROTC Program would like to invite you to consider joining the Tiger Battalion!
JROTC is a course given during regular school hours but includes many out of classroom activities. We cover Leadership Skills, First Aid, Map Reading, Marksmanship, Military Hours, US Constitution, physical training, drill and ceremony and current events. We also offer extracurricular activities (such as Rifle Team, Color Guard, and Raiders). You might even have a chance to go to a JROTC summer camp where you'll train on confidence courses, play team sports, rappel, learn land navigation, and water safety. Additionally, cadets have the opportunity to volunteer for several school and community service activities and events. No JROTC cadet is under any obligation to join the military.
