College is now the second largest purchase most families make after their home. Applying and getting into “right-fit” colleges has become ever more difficult after Covid and the test-optional landscape. These factors increase students' challenges in getting into the schools they want. TrustBank is conscientious to the ever-changing economic climate and desires to address the concerns of our clientele in regards to higher education.
We have arranged for an in-person event, with optional Zoom link, on February 15th at 6:30pm at the RCHS Theater. We recommend registering ahead of time to allow the submission of specific questions. Click here to register: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZYude-gqD8qH91F0Ui4kMpVcaovZ9ssLNd1
Once registered, you will receive a Zoom link via email. If possible, though, we ask that you attend in person as members of the TrustBank Wealth Management Team and an IECC representative will be available to answer additional questions afterwards, for those who are in person.
Come learn from a subject-matter expert, Heidi King with College Inside Track, who speaks nationwide on the college process, about this exciting, but sometimes stressful milestone event to greatly enhance your understanding, reduce anxiety, and give you savvy tips and actionable strategies to position your child for success. This webinar will cover current trends (college admission, acceptance, and cost to attend), myths about financial aid, and the 2023 FAFSA changes that will affect many families, and ultimately help guide parents/guardians toward a more strategic college search. We are finding that our families with high school students now have more questions about the college process than ever before because so much has changed so quickly! There will be valuable take-aways for students in high school, but it is geared mainly towards upperclassmen.
We hope to see you on February 15th! If you have any questions before then, please feel free to reach out to Gina Kocher at 618.429.9226.

There is still time to complete the culture and climate survey for your student at the high school. We greatly appreciate your help.
