The State of Illinois requires that all Seniors receive the Meningococcal Conjugate Vaccine (MCV4). If your student received a dose after the age of 16, they do not need another dose. The State of Illinois requires that students who are not compliant with Immunizations be excluded from school.
Immunization Records for all 11th Grade RCHS students have been given to the Richland County Health Office so that your student’s shot record may be reviewed with the health nurse upon making your child’s appointment for this vaccine. You may want to receive other vaccines that are not a requirement but may be recommended. Please call RCHO at 392-6241 to make your child’s appointment.

It was running dictation day in Español 1. One of the partners runs to one of the sentences, looks at it, and runs back and dictates it their partner in Spanish. When they have a complete sentence (they may have to run back multiple times to get the information), they switch and the writer becomes the runner. They do this until all the sentences have been completed. The sentences were from the first reading about Argentina. It got 2 thumbs up from el Jefe, el Sr Thompson.

Mrs. Burris's spring Calculus students have been working towards their "derivers" license. They have taken a short derivative quiz every day for the past month. The quizzes focused on the power, product, quotient, and chain rules for derivatives, with each quiz increasing in difficulty. These students are all derivative pros and have officially earned their de-rivers license! 🚗✏️📈
