RCHS junior Carson Bissey has finished his 2023-2024 wrestling season as 4th in state. Bissey traveled to the IHSA State Finals in Champaign at the U of I State Farm Center over the holiday weekend. On Thursday afternoon, he was a round one winner 11-0. He wrestled again that evening and won in triple overtime, 6-3. Friday evening he wrestled and lost 4-2. On Saturday morning, he wrestled and won 7-5. Bissey hit the mat one more time and finished fourth, 5-1. He was competing in class 1A, 132 pound division. RCHS and all of One Tiger Nation is incredibly proud of Carson and cannot wait to see what he does next year in his final season as a Tiger!
