FBLA will have a chapter meeting today at 1:10 in the English Commons area on the 2nd floor. Snacks and drinks will be available. We do have some upcoming events planned that we would like to inform you about. We will also announce the results of the state conference. And if you are interested in running for an officer position for the next school year, officer applications will be available. Hope to see you Wednesday!
FBLA is sponsoring a "Christmas in April" Adopt-a-Student competition/fundraiser next week. The purpose of the competition/fundraiser is to raise money to help some of our high school students purchase needed items. All money raised will be used for students in need. The competition is between the 3rd block classes. You should put coins in your 3rd block money box and put bills in your other blocks money boxes. Coins count as positive points and bills count as negative points. The block with the most positive points will win a dessert party. The contest begins Monday, April 12 and will end at the conclusion of 3rd block on Friday, April 16.
2021 Miss Richland County Fair Queen Pageant will be held July 5, 2021. For any young lady 16-21 years of age interested in competing, the committee will be offering two informational meetings. The first is scheduled for Sunday April 18th at 2 pm and the second is on Thursday April 22nd at 6:30 PM both at Elm Street Christian Church. You only need to attend one of these meetings and please bring a parent or guardian with you- attending 1 meeting is required.
Spring Soiree Sign-up Instructions: All junior and senior RCHS students going to the prom must sign up any non-RCHS student as a guest, as well as, any RCHS student who is a freshman or sophomore. Middle school students or any high school dropouts will not be allowed to come as a guest. In addition to signing up the guest, students bringing NON-RCHS student/guest must take a copy of the “Guest Request Form for Dances” and have it completed by the appropriate school administration (guests that have been previously approved this school year need only to be signed up in the office). All completed forms must be turned in to the high school office by Friday, April 23rd. Failure to follow this process will result in non-admittance of the guest.
The April selection for the Book Club Inheritance Games by Jennifer Lynn Barnes. The plot for this 2022 Lincoln selection revolves around a young girl and an inheritance of billions - but with a mysterious twist. Copies are available in the library. Feel free to participate even if you missed last month's reading selection and meeting.
Bus Students: After school, all bus students must board your assigned bus at the high school and transfer once you get to the middle school. Students are not to walk or get rides to the middle school at the end of the day. Failure to follow these guidelines will result in students not being allowed to ride the bus.
